About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 27 years of experience working with teens and adults. My focus is emotional regulation - helping you understand what you are feeling and learn how to respond in ways that feel more grounded, manageable, and intentional.

Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles of overwhelm, reactivity, or constant internal pressure. In therapy, we slow things down and begin to make sense of what is happening emotionally in real time, so it becomes easier to shift patterns that are no longer working.

My approach is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on both insight and practical tools. We look at what is driving emotional intensity, how it shows up in daily life and relationships, and what can help you feel grounded.

My Background

My background in mental health and medical social work shapes the way I approach therapy. I have extensive experience supporting individuals through both emotional challenges and the impact of chronic illness or ongoing medical conditions.

This work has given me a deep understanding of how closely emotional and physical health are connected, and how stress, illness, and life demands can affect daily functioning and overall well-being. I bring that perspective into my clinical work by paying attention to the whole person, not just isolated symptoms.
